Keep a record of the outline version you use. A study plan should cover people, process and the business setting of a project. The current emphasis includes value and the decisions that affect a project in its wider setting. Check that your practice isn't limited to memorising process names.

Master of Project Academy's named self-paced PMP training states that it provides 35 contact hours and maps to the exam outline in effect from July 2026. It describes lessons, case work and explained practice questions. Those are provider statements about the product, not an independent outcome study.

ExpertRating's PMP Certification Exam Preparatory Course is another study option. Its course page describes preparation and a provider completion certificate. It isn't the PMI PMP credential.

The course page still states alignment to a 2018 exam pattern and PMBOK Sixth Edition material. That doesn't establish coverage of the active July 2026 outline. The page also uses "PDUs" when discussing training for eligibility. Confirm the accepted entry-training evidence rather than treating that label as proof.

It may contain useful background concepts, but this guide doesn't recommend it as the sole current-exam route. The two current preparation options above are the stronger places to start. A low purchase price cannot solve a mismatch in exam scope.

Factors to consider before buying

Separate the decision into training evidence, learning and practice. Training evidence addresses the issuer's formal entry requirement. Learning develops understanding. Practice helps you use that understanding under a question's constraints. One product may provide several of these, but check each claim.

Ask for a current syllabus. Match it to the named outline rather than a general promise that the course is "updated." Look for explained reasoning, including why weaker answers are wrong. A large bank of questions isn't enough if the answers teach the wrong exam assumptions.

Keep the purchase scope clear:

Verify eligibility and exam alignment
